Will Aamir Khan to work with Katrina Kaif?: Aamir Khan who was hesitant to star opposite Katrina Kaif earlier as she was dating Salman Khan at that time is now ready to work with the actress post their break-up, according to the sources.

One year ago, Aamir Khan had told TOI, "Katrina is a huge star. But no filmmaker has come forward with a proposal to cast us.''

Around the same time, the two even featured in a photoshoot together, in which they reprised the look of Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman. After the photoshoot, there was a buzz about the two of them coming together in a film soon, but nothing happened.

Aamir reportedly even got an offer from a production house, but he couldn't say yes as Salman, Katrina were dating at that time. Now the same production house has approached Aamir again, and the actor might give his go-ahead this time around.

A source told TOI, "Now that Salman and Kat have split, Aamir may team up with the Bollywood diva."

Galliano out at Dior

The news is not good for John Galliano as a Dior press release has just stated. He is officially out as Design director for Christian Dior with the ongoing investigation of his racist and anti-semitic outburst at a Paris cafe last week. More reports have surfaced since then of previous outbursts at the same cafe complete with a video of that exchange. This disturbing tape has complicated matters culminating with the house's decision to sever all ties with him. Dior and its parent company LVMH have a zero tolerance for anti-semitic/racist behavior and have held the line. Its a sordid business as Galliano has been one of the most prolific and important couturiers working today. Nevertheless, his troubles have derailed his career. Its a sad commentary.

Box Office Report:'Tanu Weds Manu' stable in average position

Box Office Report:'Tanu Weds Manu' stable in average position: Last Friday’s release Tanu Weds Manu is holding steady at the box office, even as director Vishal Bhardwaj’s much hyped 7 Khoon Maaf is breathing its last.

The ongoing Cricket World Cup has certainly taken the footfalls away from theatres, but despite that director Anand L Rai’s matrimonial comedy Tanu Weds Manu, starring Kangana Ranaut and Madhavan, has managed a fairly decent weekend at the box office.

As per trade figures, it did a business of Rs. 3.2 crore on Friday. The collections picked up and reached Rs. 4.15 crore on Saturday, but fell down on Sunday to Rs. 3.7 crore, possibly because of the India-England nail-biter in Bangalore.

The film’s first weekend figure stands at approx Rs. 11 crore nett.

On the other hand, 7 Khoon Maaf is gasping its last breath. The film’s collections fell by 80 percent after the first week collection of Rs. 15 crore nett.

Kangana Ranaut refused to wear the bikini?

Kangana Ranaut refused to wear the bikini?: Kangana Ranaut was game to don a bikini for a scene in director David Dhawan’s comedy film Rascals, but backed out at the last minute.

The shoot was being done in Thailand last week and the male co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan were ready for the scene in which Kangana was to emerge from the sea in nothing more than a sexy bikini. Reportedly, Dhawan had discussed the scene with Kangana before and she had not just given her nod but also shopped for the bikini.

But when the time came for Kangs to slip into a two-piece she had second thoughts and refused to do the scene. Several reasons are being cited for her flip-flop. One is that she backed out after learning that in the scene Sanjay and Ajay were supposed to ogle at her. Another is that she was not comfortable in slipping into the two-piece because she has gained weight recently and did not want her flab to be seen.

Whatever the reason, we hear the shoot was stalled for hours after Kangana refused to wear the bikini despite persuasion by the director and co-stars. Not just that, she later left the Thailand shoot mid-way and flew down to Mumbai to promote her film Tanu Weds Manu.

Thankfully, the issue has now been sorted out and we hear that Kangana has at last agreed to wear the bikini.
